TPI Philosophy of the swing

"We don't believe there is one way to swing a club; we believe there are an infinite number of ways to swing a club. But we do believe that there is one efficient way for all golfers to swing a club and it is based on what they can physically do."

As a Professional Golf Instructor, I consistently encounter student's that want to improve and understand how to improve, but are stuck due to a physical limitation. This could be due to a health issue or injury, but more likely it is due to the unfortunate fact that the aging process can adversely effect your ability to swing a golf club.

Golf fitness training can be very beneficial  for everyone including mature golfers. Research shows that after the age of 25, the body looses muscle mass at approximately 1% per year.  If nothing is done to improve both strength and power output of the body by the time an individual is 50 years old they will have lost 25% of their muscle mass.  This loss of strength equates to the loss of stability in the golf swing affecting every phase of the swing.

This golf conditioning program is designed to improve golfers flexibility, balance, strength, muscular endurance and power.

Each week highlights a golf skill and swing fundamental while continuing to build a solid golf fitness foundation.

Putting, Swing-Arch and Flat Target Wrist through Impact
