Canterwood Junior Golfers

Congratulations!
We would like to congratulate the five Canterwood Juniors who qualified and played at the Washington High School State Golf Tournament last week.

Alivia Brown - State Champion
Topping the list is Alivia Brown winning individual honors for the girls in 4A as a sophomore.  Alivia shot 72-72 ending in a 3 way tie for first. Alivia won the playoff on the second hole.

Rachel Lewis - 5th Place
Rachel, the defending State Champion, defended well, shooting 73-76.  Rachel will be playing golf next year at Washington State on a golf scholarship.

Chris Tedesco - 6th Place
Chris struggled out of the gate with an 80 but came back strong and climbed back up the leaderboard with a second round 73.  Chris is off to Oregan State next year on a golf scholarship.

Alec Charles - 36th Place
An impressive feat, Alec qualified for state this year as a freshman.

Adam Barker
Qualified for State as a sophomore by winning Districts with a 73.

These juniors are constantly practicing four to five days a week to be this good.  It is awesome to watch.  Great job to all of you.
