WJGA State Championships

Congratulations to all the juniors at Canterwood that played in the WJGA State Championships, July 31- August 2.  

Congratulations to Alivia Brown 

on winning another State Championship shooting rounds of 71, 71 and 72 to win by 2 shots in the Girls 16-17 age group.  

In the Girls 12-13 age group, Clair Hill finished 4th place.

In the Boys 12 -13 age group, Joe Allen finished 10th place.

Boys 16-17 age group, Alec Charles finished 16th place.  

Good playing also goes out to Jessica Zelasko, Preston Bebich and Jordan Lee for making it to the WJGA State Championships.  

Each one of these juniors puts in a lot of practice time, awesome job!!!

Niner's MGI - Bird is the Word

We recently had our Niner’s Member Guest Invitational.  They had 64 players and “Bird is the Word” was the theme.  There were some great costumes, decorations and lots of good golf.

25th Anniversary of the Canterwood Men's MGI

2013 Canterwood Men's MGI

We had an exciting 25^th Anniversary of the Men’s Member Guest Invitational. A full field of 168 players and plenty of good stuff to go with it. 

We gave away a car, courtesy of Jay Lee’s Honda of Sumner, for a Closest to the Pin and the winner was Marc Sorel, Rand Neeves guest, who hit his tee shot in the 12-man shootout to 13’3”. It was amazing theatre with everyone surrounding the 7^th green. 

Our 2013 Champions are Carl Hassler and Don Gill .  They made it into the Horse Race as a Wild Card and also had to go an extra hole to win!  Great playing!

2013 Ladies 18 Club Championship

In July, we had our Ladies 18 Club Championship and with an impressive showing Nancy Cooper pulled away from the field to become the Club Champion.  Luana Davis also played some great golf to win the Low Net of the Field.  Congratulations to the Winners and thank you to everyone that played!
